In Need Of Success In My Life

I was born in Tanzania.
It is a country that a door opened for me.
I call it home because that's where my heart resides
And a place I developed my wings.
Where all people lives upon what the Creator has put in their nest.

Then I moved to Malawi.
Where I learnt to flew.
Where Love was kept in our heads not our hearts.
But hating is what stayed in our chest.
Jealous between all mankind like carts and dogs
fighting over a territory.

But because all men were born to succeed not to fail.
I got my wings and flew to America like a bird searching for a nest.
Now here comes America where at least I can foreshadow my success.
Even though life aint no crystal stair it has a lot of traps.
I will never backdown.
I will shoot for the moon because if I miss it I will land among stars.
I will never let the sky be my limit.
Till when my life lights independently like stars at night
And let those in need to rejoice in my light.
Till when I feel safe like a chick in its mothers feathers
I will call my self a free bird.
But I miss my home country the way I miss a fight in a church.
